Moving on Up (Journal Entry)

I am six months and eight days sober. I’ve been in rehab for five and a half months. I’m interning a Residential Aide at a shelter. As part of the internship I am also taking classes to advance my career on Human Services. After this I am going to inter as a peer advocate. I’m working with a housing specialist to get my own apartment. I am getting my drivers license (finally).
