I poured my guts into your hideaway
Naive as it may be
I thought you’d shelter me
Bit by bit
Sliver by sliver
You took it all to make cannibal stew
Skinned me alive
Butchered my carcass
Carefully preserved the choicest meats
Ground my bones to make unleavened bread
Then you invited your whole company to enjoy the bountiful feast
And as pieces of the me I used to be lay scattered across your table
Exposed and seared to your satisfaction
You raised the cup of my blood in a triumphant toast to my destruction
As a final tribute to my dishonor
You ushered your company to the front yard
Simultaneously evacuated your bowels
Then left the excrement to rot for all the world to see
