Cancel Culture (Poem)

This image is old. I’ll do a different one when I’m done going to bed forever.

Baby boomers
Gen X
Millenials
Gen Z

It’s the clash of the generations
The inquisition of the final three

Scratching heads like they don’t know where they came from
Pointing fingers at this and that

Trying to cancel each other as though they sleuthed not one clue
From the generations that laid the tracks

Still playing monopoly
Just calling it a different name
The oldest trick in the book

When shit hits the fan
We rebel against The Man
Then The Man baits a different hook

But every hook is the same
And every bait has a name
And every name is just another word

But words have no meaning
When they must pass a screening
To ensure they’re in line with the hook
