Sick Me (Poem)

Here are the terms of my surrender
I’ll submit to your power if you deliver my demands

Show me some proof that I’ll get what I want
And I’ll bend to your prowess without fear nor taunt

I’ll live life on life’s terms
As long as those terms don’t wait in line

I’ll forgive all my resentments
Long as they get what they define

I’ll search high and low
Leave no stone unturned

I’ll read verse
Embody proverb

I’ll hallow your Name from every rooftop in praise

If you’ll do for myself what I can’t do in vain
