Days seem like hours
Three months went by last week
Plans are all forgotten
Woes are all I speak
All I have is all I do
And when it’s done
I’m still not through
Scale the dome with my eagle eye
Search for all I dare to try
Inch by inch
Near and far
White as snow
Black as tar
Resonated to the lowest order
Cash to ash like rock and mortar
Anxiety pulsing through my veins
Enough to mask my hunger pains
The pounds do shed
Can’t go to bed
Unleah the schizophrenia in my head
But when it’s all gone
And all’s said and done
And all the fun finds new ploys for pun
I’d give it my all
Won’t give it no slack
To see what lies beneath the crack
