An ongoing commentary about God…

This is the beginning of an ongoing train of thought that has been bubbling in my soul for many years. I figure I should post the beginning now and then keep working until I get to the end. It’s a work in progress that I will continue to update. I just wanted to post it now so I will be obliged to finish it. I will post updates when I add more to this blog

We’re running out of time. A time that seems so trivial to a species who mostly believe they were born of God. And yes, this may be true, I mean obviously. If we were not born of God then what were we born of? Nothing? Even if we were born of nothing, then nothing is our God because nothing created everything. Or some krazy multi-demensional conspiracy? That is quite an amusing thought but let us now think with our super-computerlike brains for a sec.

Yes, we were born of God. The real question that remains is… What is this God who gave birth to the universe and everything in it? I say “who” and not “that” because I truly believe this God has a mind (who) and is not just a thing with no real cognisence (that). But I am always open to other human opinions because I am human and all humans are just as clueless as the next.

No, we aren’t running out of time. Christians, and other theists with end times fantasies, have been claiming this for thousands of years and you are all shown to be false prophets. Every theist wants to pretend that they happened to get lucky and have the one true religion with the one true creator. No evidence for this at all. Just a bunch of humans who want to pretend that some magical being agrees with them.

Again, which god if any are we “born of”? You have no evidence. Most theists are not open minded at all, each sure that they and they only have the “truth”.

Would you consider you are entirely wrong? why or why not?

    • Would you consider that you’re an angry atheist who recites verbatim the rantings of your fellow atheists? Like I said, this is just the beginning of my commentary. You have no clue where I’m going with this so I won’t even attempt to indulge you with a response to the rest of your rampage. Good night kind sir, and good luck…

      • No, I would not consider that I am an “angry atheist” since that is a false claim often made by theists who want to claim that atheists are “angry” so you might discount what we have to say.

do show where I “recite” verbatim, Maria.

“But I am always open to other human opinions because I am human and all humans are just as clueless as the next.””

Considering your response here, this seems to be false claim about yourself. I do note that you have decided not to answer my question regarding your claim to be open minded.

The violence of your response seems to bely the claim you have made about yourself being open minded. There is nothing “ranting” or “rampaging” about my post.

I believe that where you are going with your commentary is where many Christians go, with claims about your god and how your version is the only right one. Considering the keyword tags that are most common on your website, your beliefs are pretty obvious.
