Jesus Was (Poem)

Yeshuah was Black

Jesus was a send to all
A lighter up
A friend to foe

A treasure in a world so poor
A leader when the fallen call

Jesus saw
Let truth be told
The Truth when all had fallen off

The Light that shined through tears and moans
And all the ages, tales, and thrones

No man can claim in Jesus’ name
That Christ was born to die in vain

For Christ was more than just a name
He died to war the sword to shame

Christ hailed the glory of Kingdom Come
A holy knight
The chosen one

A flicker in the narrow path
The Shepherd of the stolen wrath

No man can stand
Let truth be told
When truth is sold for veils and gold

But Jesus knew what few men know
For Jesus was
Let Truth be told
